Changelog#
The release notes of each version, with every change and the breaking ones listed first, are on the GitHub Releases page of the repository.
Before 1.0, a new minor version may still change the command line and the Python API; its release notes say what breaks and how to update. From 1.0, a breaking change needs a new major version.
Versions so far#
0.12: MP-PCA denoising and Gibbs-ringing removal; weighted DTI fits; tract profiles, track density images and structural connectomes; applying ANTs, FSL and MRtrix3 registrations; reading MATLAB files, including MRIToolkit’s results. The project took the name Larmor and the LGPL-3.0-only licence.
0.11: Editing tractograms: selecting streamlines by length, weight and regions, cropping, resampling and joining (
lar tract-edit); MRtrix gradient tables and TSF files.0.10: mFOD, with the L2NNLS and LASSO solvers and the NODDI response function.
0.9: The compiled part rewritten in C++; the deconvolution method and its solver chosen separately.
0.8: Asymmetric FODs in peaks, tractography and the viewer.
0.7: The viewer redesigned, with docked panels and a desktop launcher; the library’s packages reorganised.
0.6: Tubes, screenshot modes, sessions, surfaces and agents (MCP) in the viewer; FreeSurfer and GIfTI surfaces.
0.5: DTI colours, FOD glyphs, peaks, screenshots and the Help window in the viewer.
0.4: The first version of the viewer, BrainViewer.
0.3: DKI, FOD peaks, and deterministic and probabilistic tractography.
0.2: Larmor’s own readers and writers for NIfTI, MRtrix, TCK, TRK, VTK and FIB files.
0.1: The project’s foundations: tests, checks and documentation.
